Vela Chair Assessments

What are they?

We use a Vela chair assessment as a way of evaluating how a Vela Tango chair can help a adult or child and determining the size and specification of the chair required.

How much does it cost?

The Vela Tango chair assessment service is free.

Who completes the assessment?

A Chartered Physiotherapist or a seating technician with specialist Vela chair training and expertise in paediatric and adult seating will complete the assessment. For more information on our medical credentials please read about us .

Where does the assessment take place?

Our team is mobile and so can bring the chairs to the location that is most convenient to you..Many clinicians will request that we either visit the individal's home, school or workplace to ensure that the chair will work in the environment where it will be used the most. Equally, if you prefer to come to us, we have several clinics in London and Kent where a Physiotherapist can take you through all the options. What happens at the end of the assessment?

We will use all the information gathered during the assessment to put a chair recommendation and quote together for you.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

We can normally find an assessment slot within 5-10 days. If you have an urgent request please mark the contact form or email with the word Urgent and we will try and find an express appointment in the next 1-4 days.
